No one here gets out alive…as the saying goes. Statistics Canada’s 2016 Census figures show that for the first time seniors outnumber children in Canada. There are 5.9 million Canadian seniors compared to 5.8 million Canadian under the age of 14. This is due to the historic jump of 20 per cent since 2011 in the number of people over 65; a  significantly greater increase than the five per cent growth experienced by the population as a whole.

We invite you to an information session aimed at helping you and your loved ones deal with the challenges that may come up as you, or your parents, get older. Whether you want to age in place, or prefer to look at a range of assisted living options, it is good to have a plan in place. Waiting for a crisis is not the most effective way of dealing with a new reality.

We are thrilled to have Jeanette Bock, Client Solutions Executive, Silver Sherpa, join us to explain how to best navigate the system and offer solutions to situations you may or may not have expected for yourself or your aging parents. Putting a plan in place now for your children to execute as it is needed is the best way to ensure a smooth transition into the next phase of your life.

Whether you are at a stage of your life when you might consider what’s next or you have aging parents who require increasing assistance or you want to alleviate the burden on your children in the future, this seminar is for you.

There is no cost and we’re not selling anything. If you decide that you like what you hear and want to have further discussions with Jeanette, she will welcome that. However, if you just want to hear what she has to say, that’s good too.

Come join us!  We hope to see you there.
